To Neuter or Not To Neuter ?

Cat Neuter-For any cat destined to become a family pet, the kindest things to do is neuter it.
Neutering ( 'altering' , in the USA) is a simple operation.
In the male it takes little time;

1.An incision is made in the scrotum, each testis pulled out saparetely

2.The vas deferens severed

3.The testis removed

4.Suture inserted

Cat Neuter- For Female cat , its involves abdominal surgery, but still does not take long.It takes about 5 minutes.

1.An incision was made about 1 cm (1/2 in) long on the cat's flank

2.The ovaries and and uterus are removed

3.The opening stitched up.

In older cat this may be done mid-line, with longer incision straight up the underside of the belly
A male will often be up and bouncing when you bring back home but the female may require twenty-four hour to convalesce.
